Founded in 2019, Our client is a fast growing, profitable, software company building an industry leading Software as a service (SaaS). The platform that is aiming to become the digital infrastructure which the land and development industry will use to work more efficiently and effectively. If you are interested in working with a team solving complex problems in order to drastically improve how an industry works, from the bottom up, this might be the role for you.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Full-Stack Web Developer with decent industry experience to join our growing team of developers. Work you will do might involve:

1 – Working with machine learning engineers to integrate AI/ML generative language and image models into the platform. You will be responsible for improving the existing LLM/AI powered features, with a specific focus on the UI/UX of these systems.

2 – Building new features into the platform for our users to use. Ranging from speed and efficiency improvements of existing features to completely new additions to the platform. We have a lot we want to build!

An ideal candidate would willing to commute to Manchester a couple of times a year for company events, meetings and so on and would be able to commit to an initial short working period in the office to settle in. You would be expected to work 37.5 hours a week. We have core work hours of 10:30 – 3:30, with the rest of the time each week filled in to suit your working preference.

This is a full-time position, with 20 days paid holiday a year (excl bank holidays). Salary is £50,000-£70,000 depending on experience.

Essential Skills:

· Strong knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, PHP, HTML, CSS

· Some experience with the Laravel framework, preferably with Laravel 5+

· Great experience with Vue.js

· Object Oriented based development experience

Desirable Skills:

· Comfortable in SSH/terminal access

· Linux experience MySQL/Postgresql knowledge

· Experience using REST services

· Experience in using Sass

· Experience using Git/SVC

· Basic experience of AWS or similar server management providers.

· Good python knowledge.

Useful:

· Comfortable with using Mac OS

· Land and Planning/Construction experience.

· Experience with GIS and GeoSpatial data

· Experience with Google maps javascript API

· Experience using Geoserver

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
